Visualizing a day soon with computer programs artificially imitating the human-level intelligence to tackle the impossibles off, AI began it’s way as a novice in 1947 and from then on the field seems going to be ubiquitous all around the world, Iran not being an exception.
Lying on the edge, wishing to try a huge leap, Sepanta Robotics & AI Research Foundation (SRRF), was established in December 2003 in Tehran.
Dedicating sheer focus to research on artificial intelligence field, SRRF hopes to break from the world-class basic research through the state of the art and transfer the results to industrial and commercial applications.
Owing both to the know-how group within the center with outstanding skills in electrical and electronics engineering and computer science and some university faculties, this center is today proud of its distinguished accomplishments in the robotics and AI field and is going on the main outline that is promoting the necessity of specialized robotics centers alike within the country.
