In recent years, the electricity generation and distribution have been deregulated in many modern countries; so independent electricity operators have taken the responsibility to manage all of the tasks including electricity market activities. In these markets, suppliers submit offers to sell electricity and wholesale buyers submit bids to buy electricity. In this way, it is very important to predict electricity demand and price for both the supply and demand sides in short and long terms.

As we are mostly concerned in nonlinear system identification and time series prediction, we have challenged the aforementioned problem. In fact, our results outperform the best price forecasts provided by researchers and electricity operators. Our AI-based algorithms use the historical data to generate forecasts.
