 Persian Meta Search Engine is a newly started project. The project was established in March 2006. The main goal is developing a meta search engine which specifically designed to facilitate search operations for Persian users.
This engine will be augmented with a ranking algorithm which is specifically designed to derive the best results from the bottom-layer search engines for Persian users. Also it will be powered by some translation facilities which lets the users to enter keywords in Persian and search in both Persian and English.
This projects funding is partially provided by Iran Telecommunications Research Center (ITRC). It is planned to use this meta search engine in Iranian Government Portal. |
